An upgrade that would cost max R230 pm, now >R400

Sometime during October this year, a sales person from Altech Autopage Cellular's counter sales dept. phoned my wife, and offered her an upgrade on my existing contract. He assured her that the monthly cost would never exceed R230, 00. I do not understand why this person phoned her, since the contract is in my name, not hers, as we are married in community of property. She then accepted this "upgrade" After aboout 3 weeks, a new phone was delivered to me, as well as a Cell C dongle for internet access. I am not interested in the latter, but accepted it, since I was led to believe that this would be on a pay as you go system.

Now I am in receipt of 2 statements, both titled Your December Bill, foor a number I do not know, and for different amounts, to wit R389-17 and R443-65. I have been trying to speak to Altech ever since then, but to no avail. You are sent from pillar to post, get promises that they will call back, and the last one gave me a fax number, alleging that I will get helped at this number. The first lady I spoke to, promised to call back, but never did. Today, I spent an hour on the phone, repeating my story over and over, only to be put through to someone els
