Delays in Perfoming a Sim Swap

About 2 weeks ago my wife lost her Blackberry with Sim Number 083 619 2296 in a taxi. We successfully managed to have it blocked by Mtn that same day. As she normally works on shifts at a Supermarket, she only managed to buy a new sim number 0603463952 on Friday 13.12.2013 and asked Mtn to do a Sim Swap to her old number. However, as she could only remember one Cell Number, they asked her to fax an Affidavit together with her ID Details to a Bongosi Mafa, Fax Number 011 912 5096. I duly faxed the documents myself on Tuesday, 18.12.2013 and immediately called Mtn to confirm receipt of the faxes using their help line from my cell number 073 899 9495, and were told the swap will be done within 2 to 24 hours. When this was not done, we enquired and talked to several agents who gave different conflicting versions but still no Sim Swap. The last agent eventually said they could not locate her ID but only the Affidafit, but these documents were faxed same time and an OK report for 3 pages came out from the Machine. Now my worry is the same number is linked to her bank account for transaction notifications and we may not know whats happening until the sim swap is done. Please help.
