Trying to start the impossible contract!!

Last week I purchased a new ipad and decided to take out a data contract - just a simple 99/month data only - no devices or subsidised hardware

I first tried to do it online at the vodacom website - and received a response that my application was pending and a consultant would call me shortly (at the time I thought this wasn't too bad since I received both email and sms within a couple of minutes of completing the online forms - and because I am on a work permit I knew they would require a lot of documents)

Anyway - no one ever called me... so later that day I went to a vodacom store on my way home to see if it would work better. I had everything with me passport, work permit, work contract, payslip, three months bank statements and proof of residence - so it could only be straightforward right?.. how wrong can I be?

So here I am now - two days later - still my application is pending - its been one excuse after another. I have spent hours getting moved from one department to another, four hours sitting in the local shop while they tried to sort it out

And yes someone can call me - Im not spending any more hours listening to that awful on hold music!!
