I upgraded my contract end of October, As I have the contract through a corporate deal through my firm, PWC. I was forced to deal with the corporate consultant Cecil Paul. I requested on the 29/10/13 what cellphone i wanted to upgrade to and after a lengthly discussion with the consultant regarding data i also asked for an additional 1gig data bundle to be added.
After spending 600mb thinking its ok I have a data bundle I found out after a month that I actually dont have any data bundle on my contract. the consultant never added it nor did he mention that he, for any reason, could not add the bundle.
I am now sitting with a R1800 MTN bill (which i cannot afford) of which R950 is data. received the week before christmas! Granted i should of checked that everything was correct but seeing as I am new to the whole data purchase thing I trusted the service provider and that they know what they are doing.
This bill could have been avoided had the consultant read my request properly and added the data bundle. For a telecommuncations company MTN really does not communicate properly. Thanks MTN for ruining my christmas.
