DO NOT SWITCH OVER FROM VODACOM TO MTN!!!

The following issue is what I experienced:
1. The consultant said that my billing runs from 14th of each month to the 13th of the following month, therefore I will only get my full airtime and data bundle on the 14th of Feb. This was not communicated to me by the salesperson.
2. The consultant told me that I will get allocated airtime on a pro-rata basis for Jan until 13th Feb, which was R82 on MTN active, but the consultant says that on her system, it shows R72. She could not explain the discrepancy to me.
3. I took out the R429 iPhone5 deal, I suppose to be getting a data bundle, I checked on the *161* and was unable to see any data bundle.By all indication, I have not been allocated a data bundle, therefore my airtime is now at R8. There was no notification from MTN that they would start charging my airtime for internet.
4. The bill that MTN is charging me, on top of the R429 that they supposed to be charging me, they charged me an additional data bundle item. The consultant said that the bill will be corrected at a later stage. I have not received the official bill, but on MTN active, the bill is completely wrong, it is showing that I need to pay R690!
