I am posting on this site bcoz calling the call centre is a waste of time, it's full of incompetent agents.

I lost my foun on 01/12/12, I phoned MTN to block the foun, I was asked the IM number which I don't have. I did not do swim swap since I don't have a foun yet. Recently I have jst found out that the sim card is still working and is being used on the same phone, this sick person is using my wassup, reading my messages and even changed my profile picture. I phoned again to block the card and I was told that the only way is to do sim swap. The agent was reluctant when I asked her more info about the use of the card. Now I want to involve police, they told me that the Service Provider can provide me with the IM number, since the number came with the phone and bcoz of RICA, without the IM number it's difficult to track the phone.

I am sick and tired of MTN's poor service, If you know that there is way that you can find thee "IM" number, why I was turned away. I need the IM number urgently in order for the police to do their job.
