No Service from Vodacom Sasolburg

On Friday 6 December I upgraded my phone at Vodacom in Sasolburg with Natasha. On the same day I returned the phone as not working. The sales assistant informed me that it would take 7 days for me to get a new phone. On 17 December I followed up and was told that they had no record of the phone. On 18 December I followed up again and was informed that the phone was sent out yesterday and that I would receive my new phone in approximately 2 weeks. This is totally unacceptable. It is already unreasonable that Vodacom expects people to wait 7 days if the phone is faulty out of the box, but to have to wait more than 3 weeks is ridiculous. Why can't I get my phone?
