After opening my brand new Samsung Galaxy S4 i noticed it had a buldge on the right side underneath the power button. This is obviously an OBF (out of the box failure). I upgraded on the Vodacom website and thus now went in store to sort this out. When I got to my nearest Vodacom store they informed me that I had to send this phone in for "repairs" which can take anything from 5 to 21 working days and they can not exchange the phone until it has been sent away. I am now sitting without a phone and a micro sim which does not fit in my previous phone. Vodacom did not offer me a loan phone and they said there is nothing more they can do for me. I can buy a sim adapter which will cost me a further R50 to get the sim to fit in my old phone. Vodacom has terrible service and this is totally unacceptable! How can I now sit without a phone for who knows how long when they phone was damaged when I received it? It is unacceptable that Vodacom offers no assistance and I am now stuck in this position.
