Unhappy with the service recieved

I bought a Nokia Lumia 720 on 15 July 2013 and since October the phone started to freeze on the 19 October the phone just switched off completely and never went on again. I took the phone back to Mtn due to the technical problem the phone had. Unfortunate one on the people working for Ghandi branch advice that phone can't be booked in due to the simpin that wasn't in the box and the problem wasn't the sim pin but the handset that faulty. Phone pin was received and the handset was booked in for a warranty assessment on the 02 Dec 13 and to date no progress on the assessment. Daily follow ups have been done and all this is just a waist of my time & effort. Currently paying a phone that I don't have use off and I would like to know what's the progress and when can I receive my phone back or a new one.
