Upgraded to samsung s3 during April 2013. i was advised that the "new" contract would only kick in at end of term of "old" contract during June 2013. i am a house wife and use wi-fi when i am at home. i have been billed huge amounts of data during April, May and June. i reported the matter to Cell C and was given a reference number (3110202086). initially i was advised that even though i am using wi-fi i am being billed for data because of settings on the handset. on making a follow up during November i was then advised by another consultant that it is not possible for the handset to run off Cell C data and wi-fi at the same time.
i then received an sms on 08/11/2013 informing me that the data validation report will be available after 18/11/2013. it is now 16/12/2013 and after numerous calls to Cell C no information is forthcoming.
