After settling Vodacom with R 2 448.97 on the 30th Jun 2011. In Apr 2013 my daughter received a final notice stating that she owed R1 809.91. Since then I have been requesting a transaction history from VVM the company she was handed over to. As this was not forthcoming I went in personally to the Vodacom cust care office. Yolande (Vodacom Legal) eventually got back to me and sent me a statement reflecting a bal due of R85.50 as well as a copy of the contract which I might add has not even been completed. I enquired if the statement reflects a bal R85.50 why my daughter was handed over for a different amount. As her emails did not make sense I requested a face to face meeting with Yolande. This was her response:
"We have Walk In Customer Care Centres, ... You are welcome to visit one of the Walk In Customer Care Centres for assistance.
I rec from Andrew Pieterson a current bal of R 1 700.62 (All 3 different bal's) which still does not show me how Vodacom derived at the figure. According to My records Vodacom in fact owes me a refund:
R135.00 X 24 = R3 240.00 - We paid R6 5 75.11 = Overpaid R3 335.11 and my daughter was still handed over
