Yolande Nel at the Vodacom Legal Dept has confirmed that Vodacom Legal take accountability for the discrepancy in billing me for a cellphone number that did not belong to me. Yolande also informed me that they are not able to amend any records on the credit bureau as no error in billing has occurred and once the account has been paid in full the information on the credit bureau will be updated to read paid in full and closed. I cannot understand why the ITC records cannot be amended when there was clearly an error with the billing (which Vodacom has taken accountability for in writing in email) and the amount reflecting on my ITC record (R 7109.00) is incorrect? I also requested a formal letter (which was required by my financial institution which I am entitled to) from the Vodacom Legal Department stating the discrepancy on my billing, the correct amount owing and payment arrangements being made to settle this account. This discrepancy (R 7109.00) which is incorrect has affect my credibility which is not acceptable. I sent an email to Yoldande dated 08th April 2013 and was given the run around when I called Vodacom to request to speak to her. IM FURIOUS AND I WANT FEEDBACK.
