Shocking customer service

This started a month ago around the launch of the iPhone 5S when I requested one from the upgrades department. There was no waiting list available as "it was not loaded on the system". Then I was told that they are unsure whether MTN will be offering deals for the 32GB handset, even though the MTN website already had offers for this. The pricing took several days to be loaded. The price offered was then around R160 more pm than MTN was offering! I tweeted about my experience and was contacted by Marco Adonis who undertook to meet the MTN price (I had to send the advert through even though it was on the MTN website). This took more than a week and I had to follow up a few times. I was called on Monday, 9 Dec, by Marco to say they would match the price and that the phone would be delivered by Wednesday, 11 Dec. Marco promised me terms and conditions and that the courier would contact me. On the morning of 11 Dec I emailed Marco and left a phone message as I had heard nothing. After no response, I called the call centre at around 16h45. No one knew Marco and could not find him on their system. I left a message for 2 managers to call (a Colin Swartz?) and neither called. Unacceptable.
