Vodacom
Most insulting customer service

I was today insulted by Ms Vera Botha and she even chased me out of 'her store'. Ms Botha had no respect for my age, called me a and was downright rude. My complaint has not been addressed after four months and 12 days. I returned a phone after speaking to the 'sales person' (Warren I think) twice and he teasing me that I am technologically illiterate, whilst the phone actually was dysfunctional. On 26 July I convinced him that it was not me, but the phone and that I have realised that I was downgraded in terms of my contract (stated in writing on Vodacom form). He offered to send the phone to Menlyn and to discuss my contract with the manager. I however had to return the phone with its box which we agreed I will bring the following day as it was close to closing time. I followed up twice and was informed that I must be patient and that they will call me. Up till now I am waiting for feedback. Ms Botha admits losing my phone and the job card and offered to replace the phone on Thursday, but became insulting when I thanked her, and informed her that I appreciate the offer but that it was half of my complaint. Vodacom, with managers like this - I WAS a loyal customer!!!
