I received my iPhone 5 on Tuesday and proceeded to call Cell C on 084145 to activate the SIM.
A message was sent at 12:50 to confirm the activation and I understand that I have to wait up to 24 hours as I requested a number port for this line.
Since activation I have not been able to make/receive calls, send/receive messages or connect to the internet. 3 calls to the call centre have generated the same response that the number is active on their side and they do not know what the problem is.
As a business person my number is my identity and being out of contact means business and income lost. I need this attended to as a matter of absolute urgency as it has continued for far too long now.
The initial service experience, when applying for the contract, was excellent. I hope that I am not going to regret having chosen Cell C as a service provide
