I was looking at changing over on my contract completion from MTN to Cell C
- I enquired about a contract with Cell C
- The operator from Cell C direct told me he would enter my contract details & I could confirm activation of the contract at a later stage when I was done with MTN
- I said that was fine so I told him I needed my number ported & a SIM for my iPhone (a micro SIM) when I do start
- I then get a call from a courier at work to say my contract is here & I must come sign (I refused as I said I had not agreed to it starting)
- Eventually after he returned for a 4th time, I signed & thought I would sort it out at store level
- The good news continued when they hadnt given me a Micro Sim & hadnt ported my number (giving me a new number)
- I immediately went into a Cell C store to query, they said it was with Cell C direct so couldnt help (You are 1 company)
- After two days I manage to cancel the contract in store [it was never used]
- 2 months down the line I receive a bill from Cell C in the post
- I queried 3 times by email, promised a response in 24 - 72 hours. Its been over 400! I am sure I will receive another bill this month
- I EXPECT THIS TO BE RESOLVED ASAP
