I took a contract with vodacom which i was suppose to pay an amount of 359rands a month and i specifically refused a better package which was going for 420rands for the reason that i did not want to pay more than 400rands a month but to my surprise the first bill was 2045rands and i went to them and they told me it was a open contract, knowing that i can't afford it i told them to stick to the contract i chose and it was changed to topup which is fine, the problem now is the first bill they are insisting i must settle it they even advised me to launch a dispute with the customer care but for a while its still pending and their accounts department phones everyday asking me how i am going to settle the bill while my service was cut off and on a recent invoice they billed me more than our agreed amount i asked the data department and they said i must call the accounts and the accounts said i must call the customer care but still nobody is giving me answers. I used to admired Vodacom's outstanding network coverage but it come with too many hidden costs.
