In September'13 I took out a Top Up Mygig5 @ R259p/m contract. To my surprise I got billed for data after the 5gig was used. I phoned customer care and I was told they will get back to me. Someone did phone back 3 weeks later and said that it was a mistake made by Vodacom. They never locked the line after the 5gigs was used and therefor they will pass a credit. The very next month the same thing happened and I received another HUGE data bill. I went to Vodacom Customer Care in Menlyn and I saw the consultant changed the package to a
TOP UP Mygig5 @ R259p/m The consultant said he will request a credit for me. Again the 3rd month i received a bill of OVER R6000... No at this stage I was irate and I phoned Customer Care again. I was told that someone will phone me the very next day... I am still waiting for the call!!! I went to the bank and reversed the payment and off course Vodacom cut my line. I was at Vodacom Menlyn again today 17/01 and the matter after a 3 months is still not resolve. The amount is still outstanding for the data!!! I will not pay this as my contract and Vodacom invoice states TOP UP!
