Cell C
Bundles Expiring

I would love for Cell C to please explain how they can justify unused data from pay as you go data bundles expiring. The whole point in being a "Pay As You Go" customer is that you load airtime as and when needed. How then can bundles purchased expire after 30 days? Airtime does not expire (not for a couple of years as i understand it). And on contracts, do unused data or free minutes not carry over? For those of us who can not afford contracts, why do our bundles expire? When i bought the bundle, at no time did it state that i had only 30 days to use the data, therefore i (obviously stupidly) assumed it was like airtime, you load it and use it until it is finished. R150 to me is a lot of money being a single mom and i am most upset that i wasted it as i only used about 100MB of the 1G data bundle which i purchased. I would also like to find out if network providers are not going against the consumer protection act in any way with unused data (or smss, etc) of purchased bundles expiring. I changed from Vodacom to Cell C because i was under the impression Cell C would be better. Please Lord am i now going to have to try MTN???
