My sister got me an iPad for my birthday and subscribed for the MTN 3GB uncapped light contract with MTN. Now this was all well and great, until a week later, suddenly the internet stopped working. After numerous calls to MTN, trying to get a hold of the accounts department, we were told that the account had been blocked, but at the time the consultant couldn't tell us why. I went back to our local Mtn and found out that during the first month only half the package (1.5 GB) is given until the debit order is paid out for the first month (these were terms and conditions that No one bothered to mention when my sister signed the contract).
So we waited for two weeks for the debit order to go through on the date that my sister had selected when she signed for the contract and nothing happened. Today we called the call centre again and were informed that according to their system the account hasn't't been blocked and its working just fine! This has been all very confusing and very frustrating!
Can Someone/ Anyone please tell us what's going on and how to get it fixed???
