Vodacom
Misleading Information

I renewed my cellphone contract in the month of July 2013 to the Smart S package of R399. I was contacted by a Vodacom consultant during the month of September & offered a package for R275. I confirmed with the consultant the amount of R275 & was assured that I would not pay a cent more. I've received a bill of R506 for the month of October & when I queried it I was then told of an additional charge that was never mentioned to me. I then requested to have my contract changed to the original Smart S package & was assure by Amanda (ref.# 319921304) that it would reflect by 01/12/13. Today is the 02/12/13, my contract hasn't changed, I've been promised callbacks from numerous agents/supervisors & not one person has called me back ever since I've logged this call in the beginning of November. I find it unacceptable that I have to follow up with Vodacom. I find it frustrating that I'm forced to pay for something which I was mislead to take & because nothing is being done about this. According to CPA law, all details are to be given to customers before purchasing or agreeing to anythin which is obvious that Vodacom does not uphold. I am now changing to another service provider!
