I have upgraded my contract and chose a phone based on reviews. After the upgrade on 30/11/2013 i used the phone 1 day and went back to the store on 1/12/2013 anc complained that i dod not like the chosen phone and want to change it to another make/model. I was told MTN will not do this as i used the phone. Same story with the call centre on 02/12/2013. the excuse is that i collected the phone from the MTN store and used it. I HAD to use it to decide if i like it or not. the phone is not damaged in any way/shape/form.
Mtn's attitude now is that i have to either sell this phone and buy another device, OR live with it for 24 months. They do not offer a "cool off " preiod as claimed since it was done in the store itself.
This is total BS.
