Don't roam on Cell C

On the 3rd of October I activated roaming on my account when travelling in Europe. I set a usage limit of R600 against my account with the call centre agent, who claimed that the call (which constituted my roaming agreement with Cell C) was recorded. While in Europe I received a sms at R585 stating that I am close to reaching my roaming limit and that should I wish to extend it, I needed to call them. I did not call them as I was satisfied with the R600. On 13 October I received another sms stating that my balance was R3 382.08. When we returned, I phone Cell C to query this and received a call reference no of 3102300343 on 23 October - the call centre agent said someone would return my call relating to the query within 48 hours. It is now more than a month later and an amount of R4 576.92 was deducted from my account - when my limit was set at R600 (what is the point of setting a limit when Cell C will anyway breach it...?). I phoned again today, new ref 3120200266. The new call centre agent could not even see the previous query on the system. And once again someone will return my call. All this after them deducting R4 576 from my account. Excellent systems they have at Cell C!
