Upgrade phone delivery 14 days later?

I upgraded to a new contract last Monday with an S3. Vodacom expect the hand set to be delivered on 9 December 2013. thats 2 weeks. unacceptable period. in the meanwhile i have no access to data for emails, internet or Whatsapp on my BB and i dont have a hand set. very inconvenienced
