Upgrading of cellphone contract

We did not upgrade our contract since we were waiting for the deals in December and on querying what possible phones we could get we were informed that we had already upgraded the contract which we had not. We were informed that we had already upgraded and they gave us an address which the phone would be delivered to. Not only did my mother have to send an affidavit saying we did not upgrade but also we were inconvenienced because we could not look at other phones and she would be billed for an upgrade that happened online. This is unacceptable that no queries with regard to the upgrade were made and to this moment the phone is still going to be delivered on the 25th of November. This is and is unacceptable. we are a consumer and should trust our suppliers and this is appalling the lack of service we have received taking into account this is vodacoms mistake and should make the process of getting new phones have more security.
