Yesterday I did an online application for a Samsung S4 Mini on Topup. I received an email with my
reference number 9KWFB5 saying someone would contact within 24 hours. At 9:30 I decided
to contact the call centre for progress or to find out if I could complete the application telephonically,
as this is quite urgent. Carol answered the call, asked for my ID, and disappeared from the line.
Upon return I was asked 2 random questions: Which company do you work for, monthly salary. This followed
'Please hold while I do a credit check'. Before even asking which handset im applying for or my
reference number for the online order? She came back to the line after about 5 minutes saying the system
cut out and she has to start over. Put me on hold for another 5 minutes. This continued till 5 to 8 when she
finally asked which contract I want, and then said I'll phone you back. Which never happened. I am aware
that the call centre closes at 8 and im positive the application couldve been done in 30 minutes or less as I have done this before. However, your agent was clearly too lazy and not in the mood for my call. She couldve just been honest and
I wouldve gladly phoned back this morning
