How long can it take to activate a sim card???

I purchased a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 on 4/11/2013 through Autopage on contract. When the Tab arrived on 18 November, the incorrect sim was sent with. I reported this and the correct sim arrived on Wednesday, 20 November.

On Friday, 22 November I called Autopage to activate the sim and was told that this would be done within the next 24 hours. The weekend passed, Monday, 25 November came and went after calling to see why the sim has not been activated. Nothing. Called today, 26 November again and each time I speak to a different consultant who says they are sending the request through to the right department and today I asked to speak to a supervisor who was supposed to call me back. It is now 20:00pm on 26/11/2013 and I have still not received a call back and STILL the sim card is NOT activated.

This is unacceptable service, yet when it comes to pay the monthly bill, Autopage will be sure to take their debit order!!!
