Vodacom

I Took my daughters phone in to re-install the software as per the Vodacom call centres instructions. I clearly stated to the lady that they must only re-install the software and i dont want anything else checked as the hardware is working properly. She told me it will cost R285.00. She also told me it will take an hour and she will sms me when ready. No sms received that day. I called them the next morning and they told me that the qoute is on hold, because i must first confirm. The gent then told me that the scroller is faulty and some other parts and the qoute is now R530.00. I then went to their branch and spoke to the Manager Sean Gibbons, who told me the same thing. I then told him its a as the hardware was working properly. He then collected the phone and to a surprise they had to put in a security password, which means that they couldnt have tested the phones scroller as they couldnt get access to the phone. I confronted him about this and he agreed that they couldnt test it. He then tried to avoid the issue and ask me in a frustrated way if i still want to proceed with the re-installation.
