Responsiblity of Vodacom or Samsung

In July 2013 I upgraded my contract and bought a Samsung S4 smart phone. Everybody told me what an outstanding phone it was, even better that the iPhone. Now I wonder! since I received the phone it had to be taken in for repairs 3 times. Every time I am told it is in for a software update yet every time I receive sms's to say that they are awaiting spares - strange that seems like hardware to me. The previous time, after a software update, I spent an hour on the phone with a technical assistant in order to set up my normal email which is a vodamail address. The gmail account for the phone is fine. Tonight yet again I spent more that 30 minutes on the phone with a technical consultant in order to set up my email but to no avail. Apparently my phone does not authenticate the set up even though the correct data is in the correct fields. This is unacceptable!!! Either Vodacom or Samsung or both are not honouring their commitments and seeing that I pay Vodacom, I expect Vodacom to resolve the matter. Either Samsung should replace my phone, with a brand new one or Vodacom has technicians who are not equipped to properly repair smart phones. And bottom line is simply I inconvenienced!
