I recently wrote on here complaining about the service from mtn. The response I received was that I did not quote the imei number well here it is 356535058352472.To recap, I got an mtn contract for the sony experia z about 4 months ago. About a month ago it stopped charging so I took it to the branch and they sent it for repairs. a week or so later the phone came back and was charging inside the store but wudnt charge later on that evening.i took it back to them and they sent it away promising a response or the phone by the supervisor early the following week.by wednesday id heard nothing so I went into the store to b told that the supervisor is on leave and to expect a response by 1 the next day.the next day no response so i went yet again to the store to find the guy who promised a response not the either.so I waited and today I received a call from mtn telling me the phone has a damaged charging port and I am being quoted 1200 and some odd rands to fix the phone out of my own pocket.cancelling the contract and parting ways with them would still cost me an arm and a leg.the only charger ive ever used on the phone is the one it came with but somehow the damage is caused by me.
