Warranty not based on facts

19 years at Vodacom - warranty repair turned down - based on 2 tiny (2mm) cracks on the side (Middle) This phone has never fell - there is not damage marks. Samsung S3 on talk 500. Problem: intermittent issue - clients complaining that they can't hear me and mentioned that it sounds that I am far away from the phone. When I use the Bluetooth function and make the same call in my car the problem disappears. This means that the handset problem. Also tried "google search" what software setting to switch off - but the settings was 100% correct. One question to Vodacom: It's nice to be a massive company and to treat your client the way you do. How can your Technical team make a statement that the warranty is voided because of the two tiny cracks on the side - My opinion: The only way this could have happen is due a design issue - maybe if you press the sides a little bit too hard it happens. If Vodacom is not going to help me to fix this under warranty, I will assure you that I will move all my existing accounts to a new vendor after each contract expires.
