I received a call in August advising that there was a balance of R29 due after cancelling my contract, I requested a detailed billing/call report and account details to make a payment. Neither was sent to me and no follow up calls from Vodacom to date. Last week I received a cal from an attorney advising my account has been handed over and judgement to be obtained and a balance of R1400 is now due. I do not understand how or why my account was handed over after I requested payment details and will not be held liable for any further legal fees incurred due to the agents negligence in failing to send the information required, confirming if anything had been received or following up on why payment has not been made.
