I've had the account for quite a number of years - my son is using the phone, as at the time he was too young to have his own account. Recently upgraded the account (2 months before expiry, after request by supplier). Apparently, new account was created for upgrade. Old account had R200 owing, although new account was more than R500 in credit. Because of this, call barring was activated on account. When it was queried, call barring was removed, and R200 carried over to new account, which left new account still more than R300 in credit. Call barring again activated, and call centre could not explain why, as account is in credit. Call barring lifted anly after a week and various unanswered e-mails. Today received message that account was handed over to credit bureau because of non-payment. Installment is paid in full at the end of every month (even though account is still in credit). All e-mails are acknowleged by automated reply, but no proper reply from consultant has been received to date. Consultant at call centre even confirmed that emails were received.
