A year ago I reported on Hellopeter the poor cellphone coverage we experience in Secunda and not a thing was done since, to improve the situation. I get a monthly electronically pre-programmed SMS message saying:
We are aware of your problem and our engineers are attending to the matter. I have since as I promised to do, cancelled a number of my contracts and have not extended the balance of my contracts, as I believe VODACOM do not have sufficient towers to cover Secunda and even the existing towers are not able to handle the volume of data traffic. After you made contact the with the destination phone number, your voice quality gets poorer and eventually you loose connection. PLEASE, PLEASE can someone get Vodacom to commit to service delivery?
