MTN – Worst for service

Think twice before you switch to MTN. MTN staff don't give a, are incompetent and but it's probably because they work for the worst cell phone network.

Last Friday evening I went into the V&A Waterfront store to switch to MTN because they happened to have a good deal on an iPhone. When I told the staff member that I wanted to port from Vodacom and they reacted with a visible groan I should have taken that as a sign to turn around and walk out. Sadly I did not and pressed on with my contract and 2 hours after arriving I walked out with the promise that the approvals, etc. would be done on Monday.

Happily on Monday I went in to collect my phone only to find that round two of capturing and furious computer work needed to be done before that staff member informed me that she had to go into the back to collect my phone which has been reserved for me. So I waited and watched while the staff member went into the back room, thankfully there is a small window into the room where I could watch while the person I was waiting for had a nice long chat with their mate in the back. I watched while they caught up on their plans for the weekend but she must have sensed
