I recently decided to change my mobile data provider to Afrihost from MTN. As per their supplied directives, I changed my APN (Access Point Name) to Afrihost.

It seems for one of many pass the buck reasons, this point did not change. (My phone still points to Afrihost but apparently MTN is providing the data). No one seems to be able to sort this out for me.

After using more data that is included in my package, I phoned MTN and checked my balance, and was told the amount of the contract and the amount for excess for data was NOT included. I know the amount of my contract thank you. I needed to know I was being overbilled for data. I also received NO notification that I was using out of bundle rates which doesn't seem very fair to the consumer.

I cannot get an answer after about 7 calls to MTN talking to people who dont even know what an Access Point Name is.
