I requested the itemised billing for one of our business contracts on Monday 11 November in Excel format (I specified Excel in the request).

After e-mailing vbs with no response, I finally received a response on Wednesday stating that I need to accept the administration fee of R22 first. In my original letter requesting the information, I do specifically accept the administration fee. I informed them of this, and asked them to please read the request properly and again received no response.

On Friday I called the call centre to find out what is going on with my request, they informed me that they would submit the request immediately.

Today, Monday 18 November when I called the call centre again, and after being on hold for 30 min, I finally received the information in PDF format, and was informed that they could not provide it to me in Excel. At no stage during the week was I informed that the information could not be provided in Excel.

Now a week later, I have to be satisfied with information I can not use!
