What loyalty buys you

I have been with MTN my whole cell phone life. That's over 20 years. EXCELLENT customer. I have never ever had a bill over R600. I get a bill that says I have used R1000 extra data and R300 extra call charges. Was R400 now R1923.31.!! Another bill R300 extra data usage and R200 in extra calls. Was R400 now R970. 6 phone conversations and 4 face to face encounters with MTN. All anybody could tell me was, pay or you will be cut. Nobody could give me a head office number they did not know it. They would phone me back and no one EVER did. I could not get a itemised bill from any of them. Finally, I receive the itemised billing. For data only. Not the extra calls. All it told me was MYMTN the time/date and the charge. When I enquired, I was told. "MYMTN is the access point at which you access the internet. With regard to your voice calls, you may contact 808 for an itemized billing. I deal with data only. Thanks.". All I wanted was itemised billing of the extra data usage and extra call made. Learn from my mistakes. MTN however don't want me to do that. Why should they, they can then send out bills as they please. So what has my loyalty bought me? Absolutely NOTHING.
