MY PHONE WAS FAULTY SO I TOOK IT FOR REPAIRS. IT TOOK ABOUT 3 MONTHS TO GET IT BACK FROM THE SHOP THAT WAS FIXING IT. (NOT MTN) WHEN I GOT MY PHONE BACK I TRIED PUTTING MY SIMCARD IN AND IT DIDN'T WORK. SO A PHONED 173 TO INQUIRE ABOUT THE PROBLEM THEY TOLD ME THAT THE NUMBER WAS SOLD TO A NEW CUSTOMER AS THEY DO SO AFTER FEW MONTHS TO ALL THE NUMBER NOT IN USE FOR FEW MONTHS. I HAD THE NUMBER FOR MORE THAN 10 YEARS ALL MY PERSONAL CORRESPONDENCE WITH THE BANKS, INSURANCE POLICY ETC.
NOW I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THIS DOESN'T PUT ME AT RISK?
I BOUGHT THE SIMCARD I WASN'T RENTING IT, WHO GIVES YOU A RIGHT TO SELL MY NUMBER?
IF ITS YOUR POLICY HOW DO YOU MAKE YOUR CUSTOMERS AWARE OF THAT?
WAS IT MY FAULT THAT I DIDN'T HAVE A PHONE FOR THAT PERIOD?
WILL I EVER BE ABLE TO GET MY NUMBER BANK?
