Disconnecting my number that I have for three yrs

I have an MTN number for three years, so you can imagine how many people or companies or banks they know that number. My company gave me a phone so I diverted the MTN number to my company phone number. One day I tried to see the OTP SMS on my MTN phone and I cannot receive it, so I called MTN and the customer service guy told me that it is not disconnect I just need to buy credit, and thats what I did but it wasn't accepted so i called again, and what a rude person I got, he told me my phone is disconnected because I didnt put airtime for 3 months, I told him I didn't get any warning SMS, he said you should've read the T's and C's when you got the SIM, but it was 3 yrs ago, no it's not our fault we cannot do anything, I asked him to put thro to a manager, no the manager is busy, then I shouted at him I want to speak to a manager now, he said he will leave a note and the manager will call back, now 2 weeks no call from the manager nothing and my number is still diconnected. when they they cannot reactivated I dont believe that, they have all the technology to do it if they want to. But I guess they just dont want to service their customers.
