Unable to cancel my Telkom line

Surely cancelling a simple telkom line should be a simple process? Clearly with Telkom this is not the case. The only contact details to cancell ones line is a number 10210, no email available. I have called this number on numerous occasions and have not been able to get through. Yes it is a free call if you dial from a Telkom number but this does not help if you cannot get through. I have also just tried from my cell phone, which is billed, and have been on hold for 16 minutes!!!

This service is unacceptable.

I am moving house at the end of this month and therefor need to cancell my line. I will not be phoning Telkom again and if I receive no positive feedback or contact from Telkom regarding this complaint within 48 hours I will be instructing my lawyer to send a letter to Telkom directly informing them of my intent to cancel and also charging them for the cost of seeking his legal advise. Payment will then be stopped with 30 calendar days notice.

If I am still billed after this further legal action will be taken in order to protect my credit record and finalise this account.
