Vodacom
Consumer Rights

Vodacom Centre Westdene Bloemfontein: 11/11/2013 - phone taken in to do OS10.2 update on BB Q10, phone didn't want to backup, so I would bring it back the next day after I did my own backups manually. 12/11/2013 - phone taken in again to wipe phone and do OS update. Was told it would not take long (this was at 08h20). Phoned at 12h00, was informed that phone not ready, phoned again, informed that phone did not want to upload new software and they would try again. (apparently I was told this before-which was not the case. First I heard of the software not wanting to upload) At 15h40 phoned again and was informed that the phone was sent to JHB - WITHOUT MY CONSENT! Now I don't mind my phone going to JHB, but a phone call to inform a person would be lovely, so that plans can be made and also to hear IF IT IS OK TO DO SO. Obviously consumer rights don't matter and I will NOT be paying any fees with regards to this (as I was not informed of any neither) If my phone comes back and there are still issues (problems with the mother board) I will probably request for a new phone, as I am contract. Again CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT!
