I signed a 12 month data bundle contract with Cell C in March 2013. My monthly subscription is R190 per month for 5 gigs. I then lived in Weltevredenpark and had good data speed and reception. Because of circumstances beyond my control I had to move to another area. I moved to Kloofendal on the 8th of October, where I am now. I then realized that my modem only receives Vodacom Edge roaming. I can not connect to Cell C at all. The signal is not existent. So I can not use my data bundle. When I realized this I went to the Cell C branch at Cresta. I explained to them my problem. They told me there is no way they would cancel my contract, but they would get a technician to investigate my problem. It was reported and I got a reference number. a Technician did phone me 2 days afterwards, and he admitted that there was a problem in my area. But I must be patient because there will be improving developments soon.
It has been a month now, and I have received my monthly bill, that I have to pay for no service. I my view that is.
So please Cell C be kind and cancel my contract if you can not give me proper service.
