There's no way I could be using 40 Gigs of data pm

Can someone please assist?

I settled my Vodacom account and went over to Cell C to save costs. Needless to say, my phone bills since I joined Cell C are three times that of Vodacom.

This month was the biggest shock. I got billed over R6, 000. I hardly make any calls. The monthly charge for my contract is around R600 which includes 300 megs of data and some free phone calls.

The exorbitant costs are made up of data use. If I calculate my data usage, where I'm getting charged R5, 600 for this month, it works out on out of bundle rates, and R0.15 per meg. So that means, if Cell C is charging me R5, 600 for data this month the calculation should be as follows? :

R5, 600 / R0.15 = 37, 333 megs which = 37 Gigs?

There is no way I'm using 37 Gigs a month. Could someone please explain the billing to me? And more importantly, how do I get this bill down each month?

I regret moving over to Cell C. I've been charged exorbitant phone bills each month and I don't understand why.
