I recently went to my local Cell C store to enquire about upgrading my contract. The lady was very helpful, and informed me that, should I upgrade, I will loose all my airtime I had build up over the last few months, which amounts to quite a sum.
The reason she gave was because of the new generation contracts they put in place.
My complaint is that, why should I as a consumer, be penalised when they choose to update their contracts. This is airtime that I have paid for, and is now being taken away because I want to extend my services with them.
It does not make sense.
