It is not in my nature to complain about service but I feel like I have tolerated enough of Vodacom's poor service and hope someone out there would help me with my complaint. SO... a very brief history regarding my relationship with Vodacom. 2 Years ago my Sony Ericsson crashed and after receiving it back it worked for 2 days and crashed again. I then upgraded to blackberry and within a very short time I had 4 replacement phones!!! Now almost 2 years along the line I am faced with the particular blackberry not working anymore. Main problem with the phone is that it loses signal all the time (the normal reset, freeze, "sim card rejected" etc. etc. is also applicable and these issues have almost become acceptable...). I've swopped the battery with another but still the signal issue persisted. Upon handing in the phone I made it clear that the signal issue could not be related to the battery seeing as I did test it with a different battery. Needless to say I was first issued with a quote for R600 for a new battery from Green Point and this amount increased to R1800 when Joburg had a look at the phone.
