I checked my phone into the Midrand centre yesterday afternoon. I was assured that I would either have the device back, or an equivalent, by this afternoon or at the latest, Friday.
I was advised to contact Technical Queries before collection.
I contacted Technical Queries to enquire about the phone. I was greeted by a somewhat non-committal and unconcerned individual who then informed me that I might have something between 24 and 48 hours and that I had to keep phoning.
I rely on my cell phone for a number of things, when I queried her statement, her response was "is there anything else? "
This is NOT acceptable behaviour from a service provider or their call centre staff.
Because of the lack of commitment to the client, I run the risk of not having a phone over a weekend???
MTN, please tell me what I am actually paying for as a CONTRACT client???
