I am a student in the middle of exams. My internet in the day or has slowed down so much I can barely load a web browser let alone download a thing.
I have phoned in to my isp and Telkom both of which tell me that my line is fine and there is no congestion. My "tracert" shows a massive hike in ping on the trace number 2 and I know it is congestion.
I cant get any immediate help from Telkom as they say there is no congestion in my area!
I am a UNISA student and all my material is online. This increase in connectivity has slowed my progress in my final exam prep and I dont know what I can do short of driving around until I find a technician.
The "102 10" agent I spoke tried to get me off the phone as soon as possible and denied anything was wrong! How on earth can you charge for a 2mb line!!?? My email takes 5 min to load!!!!
I require internet to complete my study prep!
The fact that Telkom denies and is so unwilling to help or fix their problem is unreal not to mention the blatant disregard from the guy on the phone.
I need solutions!
