I received a call to my mobile number this afternoon from an MTN call agent offering me a deal on this yellow deal promotion that MTN is running, after I turned it down she asked me why and I said I am not interested as I already have a contract with Vodacom she then asked what phone I had and what features or contract I have and then began laughing. If this is the kind of people MTN chooses to employ to represent them it is a disgrace. I unfortunately do not remember her name but she called from this number 087 720 0332 at 5:52pm.
Where did MTN get my personal details from? This infringes on my constitutional right to my privacy according the the Protection of Personal Information Bill.
