Mtn
Cellphone blacklisted

On the 31st October 2013, I noticed an error on my handset, blackberry bold 9900, which read Phone not allowed MM6 with an SOS on the connection sign. I immediately contacted MTN 173 customer care line. I was advised that the handset is blacklisted and that i must send an an affidavit confirming that i did not ask for the blacklist and a copy of my cerfied identity document and as well the proof of purchase. I asked the reason for the blacklist the agent i spoke to said she could not see it on her system.
i sent all the documents on the same day 31/10/2013 to fax no 011 9125041. On Sunday the 3rd November 2013 I called in again to MTN 173 and was advised that the process takes 3-5 days on asking if the documents were received i was put on hold for more than 10minutes. I gave up on the call and drop it.
Monday 4th November i called in again and spoke to Liezel who then informed that the documents are received and with an agent based in Durban. she sent an email to this agent in Durban to call me on my cellphone number 0739868138.
I am yet to receive any response or contact from MTN. I am greatly inconvenienced and it's been over 5 days now with no word or resolution on this issue
